Computer Classroom Usage Guidelines

 

 Use of Quinsigamond Community College’s Academic Computing facilities* is governed by the Quinsigamond Community College Information Systems Acceptable Use Policy. Academic work is the only acceptable use of these computers. Recreational usage such as online chatting, game playing, and personal business is prohibited.  

  1.  Unauthorized online chatting is prohibited.

  2.  Eating and drinking within any computing facility is prohibited.

  3. A limit of two contiguous hours of usage will be enforced during heavy use times. (heavy use as defined by lab staff)

  4. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

  5. Disruptive behavior within the computing facilities is unacceptable and will result in ejection from the area.

  6. Cell phone usage within the computer labs and classrooms is prohibited.

* Academic Computing Facilities include every area providing student access to computing equipment.
