CX (CARS) Online Documentation
is available for other modules.
Only newer documentation is found here. The manuals may or may not
directly relate to the SMO that includes them, though they will relate
to the same CX track that the SMO applies to.
The README files contain information about the installation of
the SMOs, including steps that someone in the appropriate department may
need to perform before, during or after the installation. While there
may be some technical jargon, it is important that you look at the
specific sections (indicated below) of the
README. Usually someone will let you know if you attually have to do any
of the steps (it never hurts to ask), but it can help if you've already
reviewed the Installation Instructions indicated--and you may spot some
issues that need to be addressed. The README also tells us what changes
you will see following the installation. Contact
Information Systems if you
have any questions about what you see:

Documentation README files may explain why the documents have
been included, what has been updated, deleted, etc., in them.
When you select a link, a new window will open. The
README
files will open into your Word program, and can be printed from there or
saved to your disk (File/Save as...).
Readme (brief) documents,
if shown, are excerpts from the complete
README that have had
much of the technical installation paragraphs deleted.
The
Technical,
System, and
Using
Manuals will
open in Word as well. Their formatting is nicer.
These documents will open up in Word within your browser. As you
scroll with the elevator button, you'll notice a small window with the
page number that you are currently on. That page number does correspond
with the manual's table of contents and index. |
