This course is part of a study supported by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

Here's how it works:

• You take a 180 NREMT pretest and posttest not associated with the course itself.  You don't even put your name on the test. (This is for everyone even if you are not NREMT certified.)

• You agree that test scores, demographic information and course evaluations may be used in publication as aggregate data; in other words, your identity will in no way be revealed.

This year we are excited to be comparing the online course to a classroom course, specifically the one taught by Quality EMS Educators at Central Massachusetts EMS Corp.  If you are interested in being part of this randomized study, please contact Kris Correira at kcorreira@qcc.mass.edu

We will still be holding an online class for people not interested in being part of the randomized study, though you will still take the pretest and posttest.
