Adaptive Computer Workstation

Adaptive Technology is available for faculty, students and staff at QCC in the Individualized Learning Center (ILC). A variety of equipment, software and services supports the teaching and learning endeavors on campus.

The ILC is staffed and open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-9:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm while classes are in session.


Adaptive Workstation:
IBM Compatible PC with peripherals and adaptive technology software.

Kurzweil Reader:
This stand alone machine scans text material and reads it aloud to the user.

Optelec Reader:
This allows low vision users to magnify text, pictures, maps, etc.

Study Tables:
Great study tables for students with disabilities.
