Prepare for recitation and interpretation in class.
Select a poem from the list and study it to understand the poem's speaker and its theme.
Look up any confusing words and see me about anything you don't understand; use the QCC Library database, Literature Resources from Gale, for guidance.
Memorize the poem (30+ lines) and practice several times. Your grade will be lower if you cannot recite the whole poem.
Prepare a brief written analysis (400-500 words).
Be prepared to respond to the poetry questions after your recitation.
