• The user ID for Blackboard is the student’s ID number
• the password is the first 2 letters of the student’s last name followed by the last 4 digits of their SSN.

  For example, Jane Smith, SSN 010-23-7890, with QCC ID 123456 would use 123456 as her Bb ID and sm7890 as her password.

It’s also important for you to know that:

Student accounts are manually created in Blackboard and students are manually enrolled in courses. This means that, for online students, there usually is a 24 business hour delay after s/he registers before s/he can see his/her classes in Blackboard. We enroll online students

• Keep in mind there is a minimum 24-hour delay from the time you register for your account to be processed.

You can also drop in to the Harrington Academic Computer Center for help. This center is on the 3rd floor of the North wing of the Administration Building - not to be confused with the Harrington Learning Center.
