Taking any of the other trails to the base could mean an extra five miles or more hiking back to the State Park Headquarters. And all the trails from the summit kind of look the same on your first couple of hikes. You could be surprised by how easily you get confused and end up on the wrong trail, especially when this sign gets a bit weathered.
