A Photographic Essay.

Web site.
All images on Kodachrome 64 film, processed by Kodak. Camera
was Canon EOS A2E. Lenses used were Canon 28-105mm f3.5-4.5, Canon 75-300mm IS f4.5-5.6, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro. Most images were shot through
a UV filter, and a few were shot through a polarizer.
The transparencies were scanned into Adobe Photoshop with a Polaroid SprintScan.
Exposure, color and "cleaning" adjustments were made as necessary,
but there was no alteration of the basic imagery, no objects were added,
moved, removed, or modified. Color was not added or changed to enhance any effects.
Basically, the images are as I visualized them as I shot. (But how much of reality is perception?)
The next several pages contain small, low resolution samples, commonly called "thumbnails," of the images. These are linked to larger, higher resolution photos of about 40K to 100K on individual pages. The thumbnails individually are only a few Kilobytes, but an entire page of them may require up to 140K, so be patient waiting for the download after selecting a link.
