The Communication Skills Center, located in the second floor of the
Harrington Learning Center at Quinsigamond Community College, is a
tutoring and resource center for writing, as well as those skills
integral to the writing process, including reading comprehension,
vocabulary development, critical thinking, as well as planning and organization.
The Center
offers a variety of services, such as individual and group tutoring,
English language conversation groups, reference guides, and a
resource lending library.
In addition, every semester the Communications Skills Center offers
a series of writing workshops as well as workshops on reading,
study, and computer skills.
Students can receive support for writing in any course, from English
and ESL, to psychology and chemistry. Reading tutoring is available
to students enrolled in any college reading course.
