Certificate in English as a Second Language
The English as a Second Language Certificate program
is offered on a full or part-time basis. This program is specifically intended
for non-native speakers of English who come from diverse cultural and educational
backgrounds.
It is designed for people who want to learn English to
develop and expand their educational goals, to enter various training programs,
to improve their employability, and strengthen their confidence in a new language.
This certificate program takes into account the diverse
needs of the non-native English speaker population by offering a wide range
of English as a Second Language courses.
Curriculum
On the basis of E.S.L. placement testing and an in-take assessment, students
are placed in the appropriate courses.
