GED Testing
The General Educational Development tests provide students the
opportunity to earn a high school equivalency diploma.
The tests consists of five parts in the areas of language arts,
writing skills, reading, social studies, science, and Mathematics. The questions
in each of these tests require you to use general knowledge and thinking skills.
Few questions ask about facts, details, or definitions.
This credential is recognized as a key to employment opportunities,
career advancement, and further education.
Registering for the GED
GED tests are administered on campus twice a month. The GED tests
registration office is located in room 58A in the Administration Building.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements at registration include:
- One picture ID (license, learners permit, or passport)
- GED Testing Fee of $65 (cash, check, or money order)
- If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a letter from your
school stating that you have withdrawn.
