What it Costs to Go to QCC
1098T Information
The law requires schools to send this information to each taxpayer and to the
IRS. However The
IRS does not require taxpayers to submit 1098T forms when filing tax
returns.
The 1098T forms are mailed to students, at their preferred address on record
with Quinsigamond Community College, by the end of January.
For each calendar year, we report the dollar amount billed for qualified tuition
and related expenses. This amount appears in box 2 of the 1098T form. We also
report the total dollar amount of scholarships and grants, administered and
processed by the school, in box 4 of the 1098T. These forms do not contain
specific payment information.
Students and parents are advised to use personal financial records and consult
professional tax advisors to determine the qualifying amount for tax purposes as
the College cannot determine if a student qualifies for the tax credit or supply
tax advice.
