form to request a restore of data from the College's backup server. In
providing us with as much detail as possible, we will be able to process
your request in a timely fashion.
Please note the following:
- All backups are performed on a
nightly basis.
- "Share Name" information may be
obtained by:
- Opening "My Computer"
- The "share name" is listed
for all your mapped drives, such as:

Server (calkins)' (G:)
- "Directory Path" information may
be obtained by:
- Opening "My Computer"
- Double-click the share name,
such as in the previous example:

username$ on 'File
Server (calkins)' (G:)
- Expand the mapped drive to
the file or folder you need restored
- The "Directory Path" will be
visible in the "Address" section, such as:

G:\EPO 3.5 Patch 3\Setup\Console\Product\040a
- The College's backup retention
period is eight weeks. Data past eight weeks may not be recoverable.
- You may request a single file be
restored OR an entire folder structure. Please make the appropriate
entries in the form below.
- Restore requests will be
processed within three business days of receipt.
- Any request to restore a shared
Access database will require Department Head authorization.
- For any fields for which you
select "Other", please provide detail in the "Comments" section
below.
