Network |
As a service to the College Community and its guests, Quinsigamond
Community College provides Wireless Guest Access in selected areas
across the campus. Every building on the Main Campus has wireless
hotspots.
Individuals may connect to the Wireless Guest Network using their
own computer and wireless network card. The College does not provide any
technical support in the installation, configuration and/or
troubleshooting of any personal computing equipment.
The College’s IT staff is available to answer basic questions about the
College’s Wireless Network, but will not provide technical assistance
beyond basic connection information.

Important Facts Regarding the QCC Wireless Guest Network

The Quinsigamond
Community College Acceptable Use Policy governs network access at
the College. Any person who uses the College Information System
consents to all of the provisions of this policy and agrees to
comply with all of its terms and conditions and with all applicable
state, federal, and international laws and regulations. The policy

The Quinsigamond
Community College Wireless Guest Network is a limited wireless data
network provided for students and guests of the college. The
Wireless Guest Network does not deliver full Internet access and is
engineered to provide a limited service suite to students and
guests.

The Wireless Guest
Network is not secure -- students and guests should assume all use
can be monitored by unauthorized parties.

Quinsigamond
Community College reserves the right to terminate connections to the
Wireless Guest Network at any time without notification.

Printing Services are
not available via the Wireless Guest Network. For-fee printing using
College computers is available in the Harrington Learning Center as
well as in the Harrington Academic Computing Center.

Quinsigamond
Community College requires all users of the Wireless Guest Network
to have updated anti-virus software installed on their computers.
The College is not liable or responsible for the damage caused by
any virus, worm, Trojan, etc., which you may be exposed to while
connected to the Wireless Guest Network.
