PROFESSOR PAUL CONNELL'S HOME PAGE

Hi. I'm Paul Connell
For thirty-seven years, I was a member of QCC's English and Humanities Department. I retired from full-time service at QCC, on December 31, 2003, and am now living in mid-coast Maine as a Professor Emeritus.
I occasionally still teach an English Comp/Lit II at QCC, as an adjunct, because I enjoy teaching at QCC so much. My e-mail address at the college is: pconnell@qcc.mass.edu
Brief Background Informationwhat did I DO at Quinsig for all those years:
In addition to my instructional duties, I have worked with staff development and curriculum development. I have taught staff workshops in computer applicationsdigital video, digital still photography, and document design. As the editor of Visions, the Staff Development Newsletter, I brought color and on-line publishing to the later issues.
In the year 2000, I produced a 35-minute video for the college, called, "A QCC Retrospective." I did the camera-work, the sound, and the voice-over, and edited it digitally in Adobe Premiere. It received a standing ovation from the facutly and staff, its intended audience.
In the distant past, at QCC, I started the photo curriculum and developed photography and journalism courses. I've also taught introductory graphics and layout, and was one of the key people who was instrumental in getting computers here at QCC.
