This page and its associated links have been developed as a resource (limited as it may now be) for our Adjunct Faculty. All of the information here has been provided by Dr. Mike Vallante, long-time professor in the Departments of Psychology and Sociology. While in the future, it is expected that more resources will become available here, at this time, the main focus of this page is to present information that may be useful in selecting textbooks for the Intro. Psychology and Intro. Sociology courses. During the Spring 2005 semester, Dr. Vallante contacted several textbook company representatives and asked for a diverse sampling of textbook offerings for the intro course. The books listed on the following pages are those books that were received as a result of this request. The link below provides the Titles, Author, and ISBN numbers for some of the textbooks that are currently available for the Psychology and Sociology intro. courses. It is not an inclusive list, nor should it be considered a mandatory list. Each faculty member maintains the exclusive choice in making textbook selections. This material is provided merely as a resource. For each book listed, there is contact information about the textbook website as well as the book company sales rep. for QCC.
