Professor Sandra England, A.A., B.A., M.A.
Professor England earned her B.A. degree in Psychology and her M.A. in Industrial Personnel Psychology from Bridgewater State College. She also holds certifications issued by the Massachusetts State Department of Education in Special Education and Early Childhood Education in addition to a Level One Certificate as a Wilson Language Trainer.
Sandra's areas of expertise include Industrial/Personnel Psychology and Developmental Psychology.
Her teaching philosophy values diversity and her teaching methods have been influenced by her special education training and teaching experience. A multi-modal approach to classroom instruction, an awareness of the importance of individual learning styles, and a belief in combining participatory approaches with traditional learning strategies is utilized.
Professor England teaches Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, Human Development, Interpersonal Relations, Human Relations in Organizations, and Human Relations in the Family.
