The student will utilize information
initially presented in the lecture portion of the course and, in turn, learn
the appearances and relationships of anatomical structures multiple
projections and sections. Emphasized will be anatomy useful in newer
modalities such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound. The course material will be
presented in lecture form. Additionally, the student will have homework
assignments to familiarize himself/herself with the material prior to
lecture. The student will be encouraged not only to memorize pictures,
but to draw schematically organ relationships at different levels and in
different sectional proportions. The student should develop a working
knowledge of multi-planar anatomy that can be used with any imaging
modality.
