RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

Mission & Goals

In collaboration with the mission statement of Quinsigamond Community College:

The Radiologic Technology Program will educate individuals, who upon the completion of the program will demonstrate entry-level skills, knowledge and attributes essential to the professional practice of Radiologic Technology.  Graduates will meet the professional responsibilities of caring for patients from a global society, through the integration of personal and professional values, theoretical knowledge and clinical skills.

 

PROGRAM GOALS

The goals of the Radiologic Technology Program are in accordance with nationally recognized

Standards of Practice (ASRT), Standards of Ethics (ARRT) and Standards of Accreditation (JRC/ERT).

 

GOAL 1

Graduates will demonstrate competence in performing entry-level medical radiography procedures.

GOAL 2

Graduates will exhibit professional and ethical behaviors

GOAL 3

Graduates will demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills for immediate and life-long learning.

GOAL 4

Graduates will employ effective written and oral communication skills.
