Q. How do I access my information over the Internet?
A. To access your information, you must be a student at Quinsigamond Community College. In addition, you will need a user name and password. A letter containing your user name and password is mailed to you each semester you're enrolled. Lastly, You need a computer with Internet access in order to visit the Registrar's Office web page, which is part of the College's website. The URL is: www.qcc.mass.edu/registrar.
Q. What is QCCnet?
A. QCCnet is an interactive computer application developed to allow students access to Quinsigamond Community College’s student information system to view their personal information, academic records, and register via the World Wide Web.
Q. How do I access QCCnet?
A. To gain access, go to the Internet and then go to the College’s website: www.qcc.mass.edu/registrar. Click on the “QCCnet” button near the top of the page. Enter your user name and password (your password is case sensitive). Click on “OK.”
Q. Where do I get my user name and password?
A. You must come to the Registrar’s Office, room 152A, to receive your user name and password. You must bring some form of photo identification with you (your QCC student ID or driver’s license). Be sure to keep your web password in a safe place and don’t share your student number or web password with anyone. Since the web password is a security code, the Registrar’s Office will not release it over the telephone. Q. Should I change my web password?
A. Yes. In order to maintain your security, plan to change your password the first time you use it and frequently afterwards. You can change your password by selecting the “Change Password” button from the QCCnet menu. Your new web password takes effect immediately.
Q. What if I forget my web password?
A. If you forget or lose your web password, you can come to the Registrar’s Office to receive another copy of it. You must bring some form of photo identification with you (your QCC student ID or driver’s license). Q. How do I access a degree audit?
A. You should run a degree audit before registering for classes to determine which classes you need to complete your degree or certificate requirements. To access a degree audit, click on “Degree Audit” and then click on “Your Curriculum Requirements.”
Q. How can I view my grades on QCCnet?
A. To view your grades, click on the "Grades" button on the main menu. Be sure the "Current Option Settings" box is set to the session for which you want to view grades. If it is not set for the correct session, click on the box to change the current settings.
Q. How can I print my information from QCCnet?
A. After you have located your information and/or registered for classes, you may choose to print a copy of it. To print a copy of something from QCCnet, point your mouse to the large gray area on the screen you want to print and click once on the screen. Then click on the printer icon on your browser.
Q. How do I exit QCCnet when I’m finished?
A. To protect the security and confidentiality of your information, you must close the web page when you finish a session. Simply click on the black “x” button in the upper right corner of the screen to completely exit QCCnet.
