As soon as you unlock the door, two people come bursting into your home. This is something you never expected. The level of terror and anxiety is enormous. What can you do to avoid or deal with this? 1. Alarm system to press for police help and have SIRENS on alarm system. 2. Strong solid doors, to slow intruders down so you can call for help. 3. Peephole on door and use it, don’t just unlock the door (BE SUSPICIOUS) 4. Have an escape plan (Don’t be afraid to run for help, making noise or having someone else run for help) Running to get help is actually better than waiting to be tied up and or worse and allowing the intruders to take over. 5.
