AVOIDING CLASSROOM INCIVILITY AND PRACTICING CLASSROOM CIVILITY

·        Instead of arriving late, leaving early, talking on a cell phone, reading the newspaper, having side conversations, packing up before class is over, Consider practicing the opposite…

·        Instead dominating the classroom discussion, Consider letting others talk…

·        Instead of challenging the teacher’s points, Consider how you ask your questions and/or how you respond to the teachers answer…

THE ADVENTURES OF OFFICER BOB

Thieving Tom walked up to a full service gas station. Once there he went inside and demanded all the money in the register. The clerk fearing that Thieving Tom was capable of hurting him, opened it and Thieving Tom could see that there wasn’t much in it. Thieving Tom then ordered the clerk into the back room and locked the door. After that Thieving Tom went outside and pumped the gas of patrons to make money. After about three hours, Officer Bob pulled up in his cruiser to get gas. At this point Officer Bob heard banging in the station. As Thieving Tom pumped gas into his cruiser, Officer Bob came back out and arrested Thieving Tom.
