The Office of Staff Development (114 Ahlfors Hall) provides and supports professional development activities for college personnel, as well as activities designed to enhance the organizational climate.  These activities include providing funding for travel and conference attendance, providing on-campus workshops, seminars, and All College Days, Retreats, etc.

Staff Development Goals:

• To enhance up-to-date technology for faculty and staff
• To improve communication and conflict resolution skills
• To provide training activities that would enhance teamwork, communication and the organizational climate
• To provide training that enhances the participant's job skills

Funds are made available by departmental funding, mini-grants, travel and training funding, and tuition reimbursement (see Funding Request Forms).
