Where should you start? This depends on where you are in the process. If you are unsure about careers--start there. If you are unsure about colleges--start there. If you are ready to apply, start there!

 

Sure this may seem more complicated than just transferring courses, but it's important to understand that careers, majors, colleges, courses are all part of transfer. And they are all connected.

 

You can help your transfer go smoothly by taking the time to learn what this involves.

 

 

Follow these steps to getting started.

 

Step 1      Clarify your personal and professional goals.

 

 

Step 2      Learn about careers and identify college majors that relate to your goals .

 

 

Step 3      Locate colleges that offer the majors you are interested in and start a list.

 

 

Step 4     Talk with your advisor and the QCC Transfer Coordinator.

 

 

Step 5     Do some transfer research.

 

 

Step 6     Estimate cost and apply for aid.
