Course Equivalencies
Typically colleges grant transfer credit for QCC college level courses
which are passed with a “C” or higher grade and which fit that college’s
curriculum. Below you will find links to colleges that post "course equivalencies"
an online listing of QCC courses that match those at the receiving
school. If you don't see a college you are looking for, you can check
with the Transfer Office to see if a hard copy list exists.
But the easiest, fastest, and most
accurate way to find out if your QCC courses will transfer is to make
an appointment with the transfer admissions staff at the school you
where you would like to enroll. Take a copy of your grades, or an
unofficial transcript, and ask them to look it over. They will give
you an "estimate" of transfer credits only. You will still need to
send official QCC transcripts when you apply in order to get true
transfer credit for your courses.
Here is an ever-growing list of general
course equivalencies and general education (or graduation) requirement
course equivalencies.
